Did you know :  Virtual Classes exploded with 12000% during COVID19 Lockdown

What is a virtual Class?

A Virtual Class is an online environment for teaching and learning.
Mostly a video session or livestream where participants can interact with their teacher.  A onlinve virtual environment where the teacher can communicate, dance, excercise, show presentations or discuss topics with their participants.

Most Virutal Classes happen through a video conferencing application such as Skype, Zoom, Hangouts, Whereby, 8X8 and many others.
The biggest difference lays in the quality of your video stream, alot of video conferencing systems werk fluently with 2-3 people but the video and sound quality starts lacking once you add more participants.

The preference for a specific video conferencing room depends on the type of Virtual Class you are teaching, or the size of the audience following that Class.

For certain Virtual Classes you want to use a shared screen to give a presentation, your you want your participants to interact with that presentation. For other (dance classes) you want to share your music to your participants or use a Virtual Background.

The advantages of a Virtual Class are that your participants are not limited to their geography. As an instructor you can attract new participants from all over the world. As a participant you don't need to leave your house to follow your favorite Virtual Class.

You can find any type of virtual class to join on Livesessions.online or you can host one yourself.

Depending on which kind of application you are using mostly there are free versions up to 15-25 participants. Free version of video conferencing also allows a minimum of 40 minutes in 1 video conference sessions.

Paid plans allow you to allow more participants, or host Virtual Classes longer than 40 minutes.

Big Events, Livestreams or webinars

When you are hosting bigger events (+ 50 - +500 - +1000 - +5000 participants) stream plans become much more expensive. Some platforms for example are charging $2500 for a Webinar of 500 upto 4999 participants. Once you exceed +5000 the cost goes up to $6000.

Livesessions.online intermediate platform  allows you to have 499 attendees for €150, with an additional cost of € 0.10 per attendee above 500.
Which is remarkably cheaper than taking the most platforms.
